Hulmeloonies Aka Anni Kay is a photographer and local loonie based in Hulme. Anni Kay’s photographs are an important social record of modern- day Hulme in inner city Manchester.
Since the 1970’s, Hulme has always been a special creative place on the edge of the city. Like the work of Richard Davis and Al Baker, Kays work is a continuation of documenting the area from an insiders perspective, capturing the lives and escapades of friends and locals.
Her journey documenting Hulme, has lead her to meeting and capturing many different communities and underground subcultures found throughout Manchester which is authentically captured in every photograph she takes.

Jayia Jones - a small burst of energy hailing from Wrexham, North Wales. A photographer, She focuses mainly on documentary style portraits.
She aims to document her constant travels and the lives of those She meets along the way.
Her work extends beyond photography, incorporating collage, textiles and more recently projection experiments.
Her art focuses on those with a distinctive aura and her portraits aim to capture the subjects' raw energy.

Sarah is a self-taught photographer hailing from Leicester, who’s been living in Manchester since 2020 with a 6 year stint living in Bristol previously.
She mostly focuses on street and landscape photography playing with different lighting and contrast but will quite happily photograph anything. Most of her work is influenced by the colours of the changing world around her. She has also worked with an independent production company to shoot behind the scenes stills for their upcoming feature film.

Bruno OR "Heartfeltzine" is a skater, music lover, left-handed experimentalist of collages, photography & video making.
From Lowton, just outside of Manchester, Bruno loves working in black and white. With his works, he feels he can create anything, working in landscape and plans on doing more portrait collages in future, he likes to include cars, buildings or faces as features.
His style is experimental, using book extracts, photos, and tearing bits from the Internet to build a cohesive work.

Introducing Jack Makin, a born-and-bred Mancunian whose lens has been a window into the city’s soul for over a decade.
From gritty gigs to prestigious exhibitions, Jack’s photography captures Manchester’s essence like no other. His clients include Nuusic, Hit N Run, and Sub Woofah Records, showcasing the city’s diverse creative scene.
Now, as part of the New Animals Collective, Jack will not only be exhibiting his work but also dusting off his lens to capture the vibe at their inaugural event.

Isabel Walker is a Manchester based photographer who specialises in portrait and music photography.
Her most recent work combines her two biggest passions, electronic music and photography. She is our view into the energy filled DJ booth and joyous dance floor. She documents the connection between people and music.
Music creates and upholds community, and her work in documenting this is vital.
Isabel is diligently working on a project with "Art Not Evidence" and will be showcasing this at the New Animals event.
"Art Not Evidence" is an organisation and campaign that fights the criminalisation of rap music in UK courts.
